Adding your dependents on PPS Protect Me

PPS Members can extend the Protect Me benefit to their loved ones.

Please note that this step by step guide pertain to Namola's partnership with PPS and the Protect Me Benefit extended to all PPS policyholders.

How to Manage Dependents:

To add, edit or remove dependents who can enjoy the Namola App services, members have to use the PPS Short-Term Insurance Self-Service platform.

The Self-Service can also be accessed by SMSing #PPSInsure to 0600 158 735.

Step-by-step guide:

  1. Member must SMS #PPSInsure to 0600 158 735.
  2. Member will receive a secure link to the PPS Short-Term Insurance Self-Service Platform. 
  3. Member must open the secure link. The PPS Short-Term Insurance Self-Service portal will open on their web browser.
  4. Member must click on “Get Started” to view the Self-Service options. Member must select “Manage Namola dependents”.
  5. Member will have options to Add dependent, Edit dependent and Remove dependent.
  6. Member must click on “Done” once dependent details have been completed. Member will be given the option to Add another dependent, return to the Manage dependents menu, return to the Main Menu or finish the session.
  7. To edit dependent, member must click on Edit dependent. Member will be given a list of all their registered dependents, if any, to select which one to edit. Member can edit the dependent’s names, email address and cellphone number.
  8. Once member is done updating the dependent details, member will be given the option to Edit another dependent, return to Manage dependents, return to Main Menu or to end the session. 

Please note that if the member edits the dependent's cellphone number, they must remove the record of the dependent containing the old cellphone number. 

 

Removing a Dependent 

  1. To remove a dependent, a member must click on Remove dependent.
  2. Member will be given a list of all their registered dependents, if any, to select which one to remove.
  3. Once a dependent is removed, the member will be given the option to Remove another dependent, return to Manage dependents, return to Main Menu or to end the session.
  4. Member must click on “Finish to end the self-service option”.
