How to communicate directly with the user that reported the incident

The Namola Watch for Responders app allows you to communicate directly with the person that reported the incident either by Call or via CHAT.

Note that you might either be placing a call or chatting to a Namola app user that is on the scene or a Community Safety moderator that might be working remotely.

To engage in the conversation, either place a Call via the number provided or comment in the in-app Chat feature. This is helpful because you can potentially get more real-time information from an on-scene contact.

 

Placing a Call

  • Open your Namola Watch for Responders app
  • Select Incidents (at the bottom of your screen)
  • The screen will be divided into Open and Recent 
  • Choose the Open incident you wish to subscribe to
  • Click the green Call button below the user’s name 

Commenting in CHAT

  • Open your Namola Watch for Responders app
  • select Incidents (at the bottom of your screen)
  • The screen will be divided into Open and Recent
  • choose the Open incident you wish to subscribe to
  • select the CHAT screen (top right)
  • type your comment in the Message field (bottom)
  • Send
