Essential is the everyday safety layer for you and your family. For R29 per month you get full tracking, Places and Smart Alerts, an ad-free app, and public emergency response coordinated to your exact location by a trained controller.
Essential gives you full family tracking and a real person on the line who coordinates public emergency response to where you are.
What you get with Essential

- Places and Smart Alerts. Set up Home, School or Work and get notified when loved ones arrive or leave.
- Ad-free. A clean, focused app with no adverts.
- Public emergency response. A 24/7 Namola Response Centre coordinates SAPS, Fire or a public ambulance to your GPS location in covered areas, and stays with you until help arrives.
- Safety Score and Safety Overlay on the map, to help you understand relative risk before you head out.
How Essential works in an emergency
Press SOS and select your emergency. A controller calls you back to confirm what is happening, then coordinates the right public service to your location and stays in touch until help reaches you.
Essential or Plus?
Essential coordinates public emergency services for you. Plus adds private armed and private medical response for the fastest possible help. You can move up to Plus any time inside the app.
